The house enjoys an idyllically tranquil setting on the Darss peninsula on the Baltic Sea coast in Germany\u2019s Mecklenburg region \u2013 right on the edge of the lagoon, or \u2018Bodden\u2019 as these bays are known locally. The house, which we constructed with meticulous attention to detail, stands on historical grounds.
